Formulas:

• Average Rate of Change:   $$ r = \frac{f(b)-f(a)}{b-a} $$
• Distance Formula:   $$ d= \sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2} $$
• Quadratic Formula:   $$ x = \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 -4ac}}{2a} $$
• Point Slope Formula:   $$ (y - y_1) = m(x - x_1) + b $$
• Slope Intercept Formula:  $$ y = mx + b $$
• Compounding Interest Formula:  $$ A = P(1 + \frac{r}{n})^{nt} $$ 

P = Initial Balance, r = interest rate, n = Applied times per time period (t)

• Division Property of Logs:   $$log_x\frac{a}{b} = log_xa - log_xb$$
